Laurie

I think the new forum is great. It is very user friendly and well organized. I really like the news feature. I like reading about others and keeping up with what's going on in the transplant world.

I know it took a lot of hard work and I for one greatly appreciate it.

I like it, too. I need to figure out how do do things (like get a signature, attach a picture). But, that's all on me. I just haven't spent the time to figure it out.

Thanks so much for doing this, Laurie. I really appreciate it.

I know someone asked before, but I didn't see the answer. Why does the location say the child's name? I think it would be very helpful to see the poster's state because early in the membership everyone wants to know where do you live (state or region) and what hospital or transplant center are you using? Usually people are willing to say and if they aren't they can certainly say they'd rather not disclose information. I think that in our efforts to secure privacy we can go overboard and "whitewash" things too much, taking all the personal touch out.

All in all, the forum looks great and I'm happy to see the forum filling up with posts. Looking forward to seeing the new site. I would like to update my son's Our Kids page.

Looks good.. just a question

Everything looks good. I agree it would be nice to see where the member is from, but besides that very user friendly.
One question - what qualifies the different levels of members?I notice senior member, junior member, bronze member, newbie.. etc.. I don't get it? -

Thanks!

Mary, this is something I have been working on since I noticed that children's name were in he place of location. Since I am not entirely sure how to change it, it has taken me a while to research through the help desk to fix it. Hopefully soon I will have an answer and fix this so that we can see the location as the place where people live.

As far as updating Sean's story on the our kids section. As soon as the new website design is up, I will accepting new and updating stories to be added to the website. There will be an announcement on the website when I am ready to accept new stories or updates.

Thanks for your input, it is appreciated.
