About C.L.A.S.S.

Founded in 1995, the Children’s Liver Association for Support Services (C.L.A.S.S.) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the emotional, educational, and financial needs of families coping with childhood liver disease and transplantation. Our goal is to be both a service to families and a valuable resource for the medical community.

The free quarterly newsletter of the Children’s Liver Association for Support Services, C.L.A.S.S. NOTES describes activities of the organization, highlights additional resources, and presents articles written by leading liver specialists about various aspects of pediatric liver disease and transplantation.

Family Information Form
National networking system links families for friendship, information, and mutual support.

Direct Family Support Program
Financial aid for families of pediatric liver patients. Typical types of financial assistance include a parent’s food allowance during their child’s hospitalization, telephone service for a child awaiting transplant, or transportation expenses for a clinic visit. Contact us for information on how to apply for a grant.
 



NON-PROFIT STATUS

The Children’s Liver Association for Support Services (C.L.A.S.S.) is incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of California and is recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code as described in section 501(c)3.
